The site has no accounts, payments, form submissions, or embedded third-party media. It uses one measurement tool, described next. Advertising is currently disabled.

Google Analytics 4 records how the site is used: which pages are opened, the country a visit comes from, which site or search engine sent it, and the device and browser type. It exists to answer one question — which records people actually read — so that the next review effort goes where it is useful. No custom event tracking has been added, nothing you type into the pre-screen is measured, and the data is not combined with any other source. In the EEA, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, no analytics cookie is set until the same Google-certified consent platform used for advertising has recorded your choice. Elsewhere you can opt out with Google's browser opt-out add-on, by blocking the script, or by browsing privately. See Google's privacy policy.

Google AdSense is the selected advertising provider. No AdSense script or ad request loads while advertising is disabled. When advertising is enabled, Google and its advertising partners may use cookies and device, browser, IP-address, and usage information to serve, personalize, secure, and measure ads. In the EEA, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, no personalized ad request is made until a Google-certified consent management platform has recorded your choice. Refusing or limiting advertising does not remove any site feature. You can change your choice at any time through the consent prompt, adjust ad personalization in your Google account, and delete cookies that third parties have already set through your browser settings. Advertising is never placed on pages that only link out to a government source without reviewed content of our own.

Pre-screen answers are processed locally and are not transmitted. The unified comparison does not save answers by default. If you select “Save my answers on this device,” a versioned profile is stored only in this browser using local storage. You can remove it with the “Clear saved profile” control.

The site also stores your explicit language choice locally so it can respect that choice on later visits. This preference contains no pre-screen answers.

If you email contact@pathwaystoabroad.com, the message, your email address, and information you choose to include are processed by Cloudflare Email Routing and the receiving email provider so we can review and reply. Do not send identity documents, financial records, application files, or other sensitive information. Email is retained only as needed for the inquiry, recordkeeping, and abuse prevention; you may request deletion by replying to the same address, subject to legal or security obligations.

Before adding server-generated reports or payments, this page will explain what data is collected, why, how long it is retained, and how it can be deleted.
