Czechia EU Blue Card
Czechia's EU Blue Card requires at least three years of higher education and a salary of 1.5 times the average gross annual salary — a multiple, not a fixed amount.
Core requirements
Completed higher vocational or university education of at least three years.
Applying from abroad requires a work contract for employment requiring high qualifications concluded for at least one year.
For an extension the contract requirement is at least six months.
The salary must be at least 1.5 times the average gross annual salary in Czechia. This is a multiple rather than a fixed amount and moves with the national average.
The page states no figure, so the amount must be worked out against the average salary in force when you apply.
Valid for three months longer than the work contract, up to a maximum of three years.
Changing employer or position while holding the card must be reported to the Ministry of the Interior.
